Illness & Injury
What We Treat
Thousand Oaks Urgent Care conveniently fills the gap between your primary care physician (PCP) that you can’t see soon enough, and the emergency room. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded experience for each individual. All our providers are Board Certified and committed to a high level of skilled health care services.
Most injuries can’t wait until you’re able to book an appointment with your PCP, which is why we take walk-ins. Our convenient service allows for on-site lab testing, as well as x-rays – with immediate interpretation by our knowledgeable physicians, followed by a report from a Board Certified Radiologist.
Some conditions that we commonly diagnose/treat include:
ABDOMINAL PAIN | FOREIGN BODIES |
ABSCESSES | MUSCLE STRAINS |
ALLERGIES | MONO |
ASTHMA | NAUSEA |
BITES & STINGS | RASHES |
BROKEN BONES | SINUS INFECTIONS |
BURNS | SKIN ISSUES |
COLD & FLU | SPRAINS |
CUTS (LACERATIONS) | STIs |
DIARRHEA | STOMACH FLU |
EARACHE | STREP THROAT |
EYE INFECTIONS | URINARY INFECTION |
FEVERS | VOMITING |
FEMALE ISSUES | WOUNDS |
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are some of the most widespread infections in the United States affecting both men and women, and two-thirds of all STIs occur in people younger than 25. Our Urgent Care offers physical exams as well as STI testing and will recommend the appropriate treatment options if you test positive for any STIs.
At Thousand Oaks Urgent Care we provide a wide range of services. Urgent care, however, is never a substitute for emergency care. If you are concerned that you are experiencing a serious medical emergency, please dial 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
